The listed insert dimensions below reflect the full stitchable area of the canvas, which is recommended for the best finished look.

• Pink Velvet: 9" x 5"
• Brown Gingham: 11" x 5"

Because the pillow has a structured 3/8" lip around all four edges, this lip will cover a small portion of the outer canvas once the insert is in place. As a result, the visible design area will be slightly smaller:

• Pink Velvet: approximately 8.5" x 4.5"
• Brown Gingham: approximately 10.5" x 4.5"

Design elements or borders all the way to the edge of the full 9" x 5" or 11" x 5" area, part of them will be hidden under the lip. For the best finished appearance, I recommend keeping important design elements and borders at least ½"–¾" inside the stitchable area.

Stitching as close as possible to the listed insert dimensions is still recommended for the most balanced and full-looking pillow, just with the above margin in mind for any edge details.
