Hi, I’m Stephanie and welcome to Hibiscus Needlepoint! 

My love of needlepoint started years ago as an escape from the busyness of day to day life, and quickly transformed into an all-encompassing passion for me. What was first a hobby became a full time job at a local needlepoint shop where I became known as “The Color Guru” for my ability to pick the perfect fibers for customers’ projects. I’ve also written dozens of stitch guides, taught classes, and helped others discover the joy and artistry of needlepoint. 

Hibiscus Needlepoint is named after the street I grew up on — the place that sparked my creativity from an early age, and is now a meaningful motif in my life. I wanted to honor my roots, and just like the vibrant hibiscus flower, I strive to bring color, happiness, and inspiration to every customer who walks through my doors.

Whether you’re picking up your first canvas or looking to take your stitching to the next level, I’m here to share what I’ve learned, cheer you on, and celebrate the beautiful art of needlepoint together.
